Frequently Asked Questions
Can we share our experience?
Of course! We encourage players to share their memories on social media. You can share your personalized comic strip, a souvenir from your adventure, or your own photos. We also invite you to share your feedback and impressions by completing our satisfaction survey, which will be sent to you by email after your adventure. We also encourage you to recommend the experience to your friends and family so they can enjoy this fun and educational adventure as well.
Are there any rankings or awards?
At the end of your adventure, you will have access to your final score and will be able to compare it with that of other participating teams to get a sense of your performance.
However, it is important to remember that the main goal is enjoyment and discovery.
How much does the adventure cost?
Here are the prices for the Pulp Mill adventure:
- Adults (13 and older): $11
- Children (ages 10–12): $6
- Children under 10: Free
Do I need to be connected to a cellular network to play?
Yes. At the moment, you need to be connected to a network (Wi-Fi or LTE) in order to experience the adventure.
What kind of phone do I need to play?
You need a smartphone that can access the internet via Wi-Fi. Please note, however, that once connected, you will no longer need an internet connection to solve the puzzles. In addition, the game will not use your mobile data.
Does the game use a mobile app or digital media?
No. The game is played online, on the Eureka Concept web platform. It guides you throughout the adventure by providing step-by-step instructions, delivering the necessary clues, submitting puzzles, offering hints, and tracking your progress.
If I get lost, what happens?
The adventure route is clearly marked and identified throughout the park. However, at any time, you can contact the customer service team at Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord if needed.
What happens if you get stuck on a puzzle?
Hints are available to help you solve the puzzles. You can use up to three hints per puzzle. After a certain amount of time—or if you still haven’t found the correct answer, whether or not you’ve used all three hints—the solution will be provided, and you can continue the adventure. The goal is to keep the experience fun and free of frustration. However, please note that you will be penalized by losing points each time you use a hint.
Is there a deadline for finishing the game?
The game is timed. You have a set time limit to solve each puzzle and move from one stage to the next. For more competitive players, a timer also tracks your total adventure time.
Can I go on this adventure more than once?
Of course! You can experience the adventure more than once, and even with different teams. However, since you will already be familiar with the game flow and the puzzles, the challenge may feel less exciting.

- Strengthen cohesion and collaboration
- Improve communication in a playful setting

Do we need an on-site host?
P
No, our activities are designed to be self-guided. The experience is fully guided from start to finish through our videos and clear instructions. However, if you would like personalized support, it is possible to add an Eureka Concept facilitator to your event.
What is the organizer's role?
Your role is simple:
- Book the date and venue
- Prepare and test the equipment (large screen and speakers, if used)
- Invite the participants
- Launch the activity on the day of the event
Even the instructions are provided in video format—you simply follow the flow.
What happens if a team doesn't solve a puzzle?
Each puzzle is timed. If a team is unable to solve it within the allotted time, the solution is automatically revealed to them. They can then continue the adventure and keep helping the protagonist move forward in the story. This way, all teams progress at a similar pace and reach the end of the experience together.
How long does the activity last?
Each activity lasts approximately 60 to 75 minutes.
- You can run it in one continuous session for a fully immersive experience
- Or with breaks, for example between courses during a meal or as part of a corporate event day
The activity can also be extended with the support of a trainer or facilitator of your choice, to further explore themes such as collaboration, recognition, diversity and inclusion, workload management, or any other topics relevant to your teams.
How should the teams be divided up?
You can let participants form their own teams, or encourage them to meet new colleagues and collaborate by creating mixed, assigned teams.
How many people are on each team?
To encourage active participation from everyone, players simply need to be divided into teams of 3 to 5 people. This setup ensures a good balance: everyone has the opportunity to contribute, interact, and have fun.
How many teams should we form for the activity?
There is no participant limit for our corporate games! The number of teams therefore depends on how many participants join.
The results of each team are compiled in a scoreboard, presented as a ranking leaderboard for your organization.
How challenging are the activities?
The level is fairly challenging, encouraging teams to really put their heads together, but hints are available if needed. In addition, the puzzles are varied, and the difficulty level shifts slightly to maintain players’ interest and motivation. For players who enjoy fewer challenges, they can take a more active role in the photo challenge.
What equipment is needed?
It only takes a few things to fully enjoy the experience:
- A large screen and speakers (optional, but ideal for sharing the action with the whole group)
- A smartphone or computer per team
- A stable Wi-Fi connection
Participants can also play using only their own cellphones or laptops if a large screen is not available.
